I would so like to thank the Sonrise ABF class for giving me the honor of doing this for ALL of you, so we could show the Gray's how much we love and will miss them so. This is the 1st ever scrapbook- probably the last!! I didn't do it alone- Jeannie Williams

bless her heart with all she has going on was there to help trim and stick many days. Pat Henaday came one day for a hour or so and helped put some flowers together and we did another page as well. So much love and thought went into each page - you all wrote the heartwarming letters I just gave them a pretty place to lay - so you see we all made this book.

(I have one letter waiting to be put in it and hope there will be a couple more. want to really fill those 4/5 pages that are made but need a note yet.) Enjoy

Oh my how I loved doing this card ! this is also a MO's image called "fishing". At :http://digitalpenciltoo.com/
Not sure if you can tell from the picture but I printed this 3 times so I could layer up the back of the boat so the second layer is cut around the tackle box and bait can and around the bucket. The the 3rd layer is just angled to get the edge of the boat and the back board on the boat and over to angle the other side . It really looks like you could climb in and sit on the seat beside the bait LOL. I made this for my regular Doc . I made a grown man cry with this card he was so moved that I had made it . And yes those are real fishing lures across the bottom of the card. Guess I'm pretty proud of how this came out .

Well friends and family - where does the time go!
I am once again on the mend from yet another surgery - hopefully when the biopsy comes back all will be well and good. Surgery was Jan 5Th to remove a small mass. Feeling good today and going to rest and work on updating the blog. (about time huh!)
So many have stopped by to check out my art work and to visit . Thanks for all the wonderful comments and cares you have left on my blog.
My wonderful caring husband gave me the best Christmas ever! I've lost now 55lbs since March - so very happy for that. Because of that I didn't have a winter coat that fit anymore so we went on a search for one- started a Target- found a great black one fit great - couldn't wait to take the old one off and put the new one n that fit. We then went to walk around the mall - pasted a store with this purple lined coat that was white and black and purple plaid, hubby wanted me to try it on. Yep you guessed it - he got it because he said it looked great. Well I had to wear it out of the store so the new black on went n the sack. Then we decided I need scarfs to match and we looked around many places and ended up at Cato's and told the lady we were looking for a purple scarf and I had on all purple so she comes up to us and says "well no scarf the color you need but I did find this on the mark down rack and thought you might like it." Oh my I looked and Duane and said "NO, you've got me enough. " He just laughed and said " ya better try it on Cookie - it's your color and screaming your name ." - So I did it's the prettiest purple coat - and yes he got that one too!!!!!!! Spoiled who me ?????? LOL
OK he got me lots of other things as well. Never wants anything for himself - g-r-r-r-r- I managed to sneak a few things in for him that he needed.
We wanted to have a 2 week Christmas trip to see friends and family till the Doctor said we could go only for a week as needed to come back in a week for a recheck. So then we just went to Charlotte to Dad and Mom Coverston . we also got to see William, Duane's youngest brother, and his wife Christi and nephews Andrew, Ryan. What a great time we had. We also got to go visit one of Duane's Aunts and uncle that as been feeling poorly. So very good to see them and have lunch with them with Dad and Mom. We had to leave Christmas morning before having Christmas dinner with the family due to the bad weather and storm that was head to the mountains -we needed to get over the mountains and back home before the bad weather so we could keep the Doctor visit. We hated to leave as Mom had worked so hard but it couldn't be helped . We saw many wrecks and did get in the storm but God guided us and kept us safe as we watched others in front of us spin out of control. We said a lot of prayers for those people and for our own safety as well.

Oh our dear Jacob got out on us and we never could find him - we just pray that some nice family has him and is loving on him. Can't bare to change the name of the blog to 3furbabies!
We manged to survive the rolling lay-offs at Caterpillar this year. It was pretty scary there for a while but we made it through. So many people weren't so lucky and are still out of jobs .
We've made many new friends in our ABF class at Church and are really working on getting connected with our church. 2011 is going to be a great year!
I've made many great cards this year and will add them after this post for those card makers wishing to check them out.
I had to give up many of the gardens around the house as my back just doesn't permit me to do all the cares there.
I have done some remodeling in the house with paint and some new furniture - looks so homey and like a new house we just feel so very blessed to have these blessing to be able to do the things we can. WE never take any of it for granted and give praise to God for these blessings .
The greatest blessing God ever gave me was Duane! I surely don't know how I could have made it with all the surgeries I have had in the 10 years we have been married we counted it's 5 in the 10 years - Duane is my rock and spoils me terribly . Our marriage has grown so much in the last year, God is working so hard in both of us to make us stronger together and in each of us as well.
So very thankful for our many friends and family that have stood by us in the trials we have gone through. We are stronger for it, God's lessons are never easy but always worth it in the end.
And to my dearest husband, I love you more today than yesterday, but not as much as I will tomorrow, thank you for loving me and caring- holding my hand and even making funny faces, at the most inappropriate times, you the best!

Just love this images - as a caregiver to the elderly and Hospice most of my adult life- I just relate to her. She is from http://digitalpenciltoo.com/ - "Mo's" has many of these on her site.
I just love her images and have a bunch - so all the cards you will be seeing today are from her collection. This Images is called "Mummu".

On this card I tried something different with the ribbon and kind of like the different look of it.
No special paper here- just stuff from Michael's and Hobby Lobby. And I have no clue what colors I used on what . heck I'm good to remember my name most days . I just color them as I see them. I love my "Copic's"- and it is a work in progress- always looking to get better with them

This Image of "Mo's" is called "Patience" - lol -so do you think it is because it is the little girl's name-??? LOL This kitty is the splitting image of our Himalayan kitty "Jonah".

Inside this card I put the message "Meowwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I did a bunch of cards right before Christmas and took wonderful pictures of them and

when I went to put them on the computer some how the just didn't show up there and were gone!!!!!! UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh.

I I called my friend Marie, she received a bunch of them from me so she was kind enough to take a few pictures of them for me.

This of course is "Patience" again only with a different lay out of the card. And inside this card I did "Hold me-Squeeze me-make me purrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!

This image of "Mo's" is called "Door with a Wreath".

I colored this image twice and cut one lay to just the door and shovel, and layered it up.

My friend Marie had told me how to make homemade Flower Soft by just taking cheap styrofoam and rubbing it together to make tiny crumbs- then you add re-inker- well I did step one but decided to leave it white and use it as my snow accent on this card. I added it to the top of the shovel ,the accent on the wreath,top of the door and on the sides of the door. then just a small amount on the welcome mat. I added some red glittery embellishments on the wreath as well. This card is so cool in hand.

And last but not least "Mo's" Halloween Kitty"Bat Cat". nothing special about this card

Welcome to our Home

Hello again - Wanted do share some more pictures of our home this Christmas Season and give an update on my health.

I have severe Bronchitis - went to the doctor and have been back on the breathing machine and inhalers and antibiotics and so much stuff I could barely maneuver.

But God's not done with me yet!!! Feeling some what better today and the last of a bunch of medications have been taken so hopefully I will get some of my energy back.

Duane is back hard at work at Caterpillar - and things look pretty good for no more rolling lay-offs for a while. God has sure blessed us during this trying time when so many are laid off or just with out jobs at all. We sure don't take this for granted - God provides.

Here are some Pictures of our home this Christmas:

Trying to take the Christmas things down. That's a chore to be sure .
I am torn as to if I even want to take one of the trees down as it is soooo very pretty and a gift from Hubby. Two weeks before Christmas, hubby and I had checked out this new store in our town and saw this beautiful "Lavender" Christmas tree - yep and I just loved it. Was very pricey - and Hubby said we can check it out after Christmas. You see our master bedroom is all done in purple and lavenders. And the joke was we need that tree for the bedroom. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would end up with one. Yep lavender tree with Dark purple balls and also turquoise ones (they had those 2 colors on it in the store and it was wonderful). We got the tree day after Christmas and then looked around in different stores to find Purple and turquoise decorations for it . It comes already with the lights. Hubby told me I could put it up if I wanted. I did so much fun seeing it come to life. Oh my you go in the bedroom flip the light switch and there it stands in the corner. Duane said " You can leave it up all Year if you want."

Tempted I am but then it won't be as special. So what do you all think??? Up Or down-lol.

Here's the Scoop

Praying everyone had a Glorious CHRISTmas season - and you all are safe and sound back in your own homes with healthy families. My husband and I send many prayers your way. As an early Christmas present my sweetheart Duane, bought me a “Kindle dx” from Amazon.com. I am able to down load many FREE books - as well as buy books from Amazon at sometimes less then half the price from them. I have about 26 books so far and have read 3, working on the 4^th. The first book I bought was a Bible for $5.99; it is so great with lots of information for my bible studying as well. I was so happy this arrived two days before we were to leave for our trip. This one we purchases has an option were you can have either a male or female voice read it to you- so very cool indeed. I can change the font for easier car reading which is great.

I bought Duane a new Radar detector that tells of road conditions and safety hazards up ahead. As well as a Garmin which we just love - it gets us where we need to go. Once in a while Garmie as we call her has taken us on a wild weird ride - LOL.

So here is our trip- hold on to you uppers it’s a bumpy ride grin.Dec 19^th- We headed to Washington DC - we were going to see the Christmas tree and all lit up for Christmas. I had never been there so Duane wanted to show me the White house and all. LOL- We even thought about popping in on BO’s and seeing if the president would invite us into Brunch- heck everyone else seems to be getting in-LOL OK so that part is a joke. We did want to see the all or the sites there. Plan was 2 or 3 days of seeing everything.

Well as we approached West Virginia on the West Virginia Turnpike Interstate 64, OH my word the snow and slick roads - so many wrecks and cars in ditches just left - some where even abandoned on the right lane so you would be traveling along at a safe clip and then all of a sudden, dang you have to get in the other lane fast - there where not signs or warning's so that was causing even more wrecks .- We came up to a toll booth there was no charge and we were told to go through and turn around and find another route as the road was closed up ahead with a multi car pile up - so we did that and took this smaller road off the toll road to the north to try and get around the wreck-lol- !

Someone’s Christmas present were delayed as there was a Large UPS truck kind of half on and half off the road - grin and about a mile up was a Miller Lite truck as well. LOL so at least all stranded would have beverages-grin- ok not funny! At the time we saw it we needed anything to give us a chuckle. Many a Prayer was said this trip, God was watching out for us to be sure. I would sure hate to have been one of the people having to leave their cars on the side of the road. I said many a prayer for the people that did have to leave theirs Well by not we were in contact with Duane's dad and also Duane's brother telling us that most of Washington was covered with - power outages and so much snow that they were closing the city down- so we decided to head just to Duane's Mom and Dads in NC.

So we get off Interstate 64 north - between Charleston and Beckley and take this lovely country road sorry but can't remember for sure which it was- Right after a toll booth - seems like 23 comes to mind and we went the wrong way and turned around and as we came across that country road there were tree's down and they cut the tree just across One lane and plowed that lane - so travel was not much fun!

I took many pictures and will add them on here. (If I remember how - been a while since I felt like playing here.)

So on this road there was another big pile up and we all had to turn around - I think the whole group of cars all came off the 64 West Virginia Turnpike At one place they just plowed a path right in someone’s yard for the traffic to go around a fallen tree.

There was a large coal mill on the route we took as well a river - the pictures all look like I was using black and white film- lol- it's a digital camera. I so wish I had thought to write the roads down - was a wild ride.
The trip to Mom and Dad Coverston's usually takes 11 hours with the stops we make - this trip was 17 and 1/2 hours. Way to long for me. My back was screaming to be sure.

On top of that I had what was left of getting over a running stuffed up head. All the getting in and out of the warm car to potty and get drinks didn’t help my cold.

The morning after getting to the folks I got worse and oh my almost had to seek Medical attention. Don’t you all hate to do that in a strange town? So my sweet husband went and got the meds I needed and I doctored up before it got to bad. I was doing pretty good in a couple of days not totally clear up but could breathe at least.

On Dec 22^nd - we went out to Chinese Restaurant for supper with Duane’s youngest Brother Bill and his wife Christi - (Christine really - LOL- Yes Brothers both married Christine’s - they have great taste - grin) we had a wonderful time catching up with them.

On the Dec23^rd- (After I went craft shopping tell you later about that!) We went to supper with the folks to a sea food restaurant; we always go there with the folks. We had a great time as well with them.

I got to go to my favorite stamps store in Mooresville NC, Called “Stampers Alley “. The lovely Brenda that owns the shop is a doll. She is so helpful and sweet as always. I went by myself as my husband was helping his Dad with some Grab bars in his Bathroom. To be able just to hang out a visit was so great. Brenda got hold of my friend Connie and her friend Judy and they came to Stampers alley and visited with me. Connie Judy and I went to a Subway and had some lunch (Brenda had brought her own). Judy sweet dear lady was recovering from a bad fall. I send many prayers her way in hopes that she is feeling better. I got to buy some new embellishments I had wanted a few Copic’ markers I didn’t as well. A friend and helper of Brenda’s showed me some great cards she had made with some papers from “Graphic 45 unique paper crafting. The “Botanicabella Collection” they have these punch out images as will as tags and all the other paper to do back grounds as well. Draw back is they are printed on both sides and had to decide which pretty side to use. I got 2 of some of the paper so I had a full sheet of both of the pretty sides- LOL. You girls know how it is. Grin! I got many wonderful stamps from Northwoods and Great impressions as well.

So we are watching the snow reports of up and coming snow storms - My bestest Friend Marie in Nebraska was telling me on Skype that the weather was terrible there and we usually get it in Indiana about a day and a half later and it was coming all the way east .

The plan was to come home day after Christmas but we decide that maybe we should head home Christmas Eve so as not to be trying to go through the Mountains in another blizzard. So Dec 24^th we headed home and got home just before the Snow hit -was a beautiful day! We had hoped to get home in time to rest a little and dress to go to candle light Christmas Eve service at our church. But I was worn out and by the time we got home unloaded the car check the huge stack of mail our lovely neighbor George had brought in the house for us. So comforting to us to have them right next door to be able to take care of mail and check on and feed the fur babies and the fish as well. Our little Matthew kitty has to take medicine each night and can only eat his own special food as he has Asthma (LOL - also high cholesterol - grin must be all that ‘Delicate Sauce” on his ‘Fancy Feast Elegant Medley’s”

As I sit here today feeling pretty yucky after the biopsies I had - got lots of holes I think there are 11 or 12 . Not a good time but it was necessary.
As I sit here I am praying for all my friends, Many are suffering many different things.
Loss of family and a loss pet my heart and prayers to you. Some have lost jobs and just don't know how they will make it now, in these trying times we need to pull together to trust God to help us . Many have poor health and need to be lifted up, we never know what the lord has in mind for us or how long we will be here. Cherish each moment with each other- reach out to those in need and Pray.

We had the best week-end with our grandchildren - We let Thurs very early and headed to Iowa and I got to visit with 3 wonderful people that I had cared for their parents while working for Hospice . You just never forget those wonderful people.

Then we saw a friend of Duane's in Burlington Iowa and his wife . Then to Argyle Iowa to surprise a dear friend of mine that I hadn't seen since 1999. So great to see her!We then went to a friends house to stay. We got up early and stopped into one of our favorite little bake shop for a cinnamon roll before heading to the kids-we had to stop and get a gooseberry pie at the Dutchman's store which they had none yet but the lady that bakes then had them baked if we wanted to go pick one up- oh my! We got the pie and headed on our way got to Lancaster with just enough time to say hi - peek at the sleeping grand daughter and take the cupcakes for Cason's birthday party at school - it was Grandparents day at his school.

He had no idea that we were even coming was pretty cool when he stood up and pointed and said "HEY" We stayed a couple hours doing some classes and lunch and recess. Then we headed back to my son Kevin's house to see them and wait for Cason to get home. We got to play with Jessilene and then Cason and we were up and running again to go with them to a Town called Downing - which was having appreciation days and a baby contest. Little Jessilene had won 2 awards from Baby contest- one 3rd place and one second. We got watched her get another 3rd place win. Grandma was so proud!

Of course my hunk of a son holding her in the contest surely didn't have anything to do with that win ! LOL .

When then took my Grandson Cason back to his great-grandfathers house where we were staying to spent the night with us and have a big party for his birthday Sat - well it's was Sunday but we all could be there on Saturday. So My ex came and Cason was so surrounded with Grandpas and a Great Grandpa. We had a great meal of beans and corn bread - fried potatoes.

And CAKE - oh my we left after Cason opened all his presents and the cake as we had a long drive home. We got in very late Saturday and I have been trying to recover from all of that since - what a wonderful wonderful time we had.

I just received my copic's to add to the ones I had so I can blend- I've been playing but haven't got a card done yet with the new colors- maybe tomorrow,
Had to go get 4 shots in my left hip- seems I turned wrong or something and bruised a bone!!!!
Yep only to this cookie-lol so have new meds that kick my butt and make me sick to my stomach and I'm just hanging in there.
I have added lots of candies in hopes of course of winning them myself but hey we all have the same chance so hopefully you'll peek at them and make sure your signed up.
If I spend more time making cards and less time looking at all of you all's cards I'd get more done.

Good Tuesday morning
It is sunny day and getting hot here!
I've been playing on here today, just trying to add some more cool stuff.
I now have some pictures of cards I've made in the past. And let me add that a lot of the ideas have been shown to me by my friend Marie - who I dearly love. I go for week long visits to her wonderful home in NEB about twice a year and we have the very best time making cards for a week!! A Big WOO HOO to that .
Feeling pretty good this week and working around the house that's not to exciting I know .
My life isn't that exciting really.
I'm going to get a chance to make some cards I hope . Have soooo many birthdays and cards I need to send out.
Each day I learn something on the computer, and amaze myself as to what I can do.
OK so all card makers:
Did any of you save any of your first time cards you made? And do you look at them now and go what was I thinking- lol? Ran across a bunch of mine. Hey we all had to start somewhere.
I try to remember that when looking at others cards. I learned most of my stuff on the net - but have very honored to have 2 close friends that got me started. 1st there was Marilyn in Mo, we would stamp all night. and come up with what we thought were so very cool- hey back then they were. Now days they would be so-so. How I miss those nights Marilyn.
And now I do cards with Marie and travel long distance to do that - not lately but soon I hope.
We talk almost daily and check things out and share ideas as well as cards. What would we all do without our card friends? And our on line clubs as well.
My ironing is calling me so I must get back to work- it's something I can do sitting down -so not to bad of a job.

Good Morning everyone. Praying you all are well. Things going really well here and
I'm up and getting around quite well.
First to the Man in my life- you walked in when I had no hope in my life, you lead me to the Lord . How my life has changed with him in it. We have had many ups and downs and so many surgeries. I'm still saying zippers instead of stitches . God has blessed our life's and gave us a good one. I shall never stop giving him the praise for it all- Health /Love/Happiness/and you Duane.
I would like to take a moment and thank my friends in my life!
You all have helped me so much through many years of my life- even from way back in My MO. days .
Marilyn the times we had learning to stamp -boy we sure pulled many all nighters. And what "rich and elegant" cards they were THEN_ grin.
Marci - girl times have given us some rocky roads- many we will never understand but we all
just need to look to the Lord when the times hit hard. I know right now you are going through a lot. Praying for you.
PO Mary I sure miss stopping at the little post office and visiting with you and our friendships- our little get away lunches at the "gas station".
Barb T- What would I have done in Iowa with out you and Mike there to help my boys and I
Times were sure ruff for me back then- thanks for always letting me be the "3rd wheel".
Brenda- Praying that all is going well with you and your health - miss you being right up the street . Another "Rich and Elegant" card maker- smile.
Cindy S I'll never for get you and Of course Hans for picking me up off the "ground" that day.God sure does move in mysterious ways . He sure put some angels in front of me that day
So glad to have you both in my life. Even if I don't see you much please know your in my heart and prayers.
Tracy B- miss you and the talks we had - hope we get back to swapping soon
Tracy K- now you young lady, you keep me grounded- and walking the walk I need to no matter what else I have to deal with . Thanks for holding me accountable to the only real one that matters. Prayers to you and yours as times are ruff I know .
And Marie - oh my girlfriend what can I say to you- you are the very best . -If I could change but one thing with us it would be that you live closer so we could spend more time together.
Thank you - thank you - thank you for always being there when I call when things fall apart.
How I love the trips to your house all the way there in NEB. for weeks at a time. and your trips here. Didn't we have a blast at the convention this year with Tracy K. such fun. I don't know what I would do with out you to talk to every day. Thank God for Skype- lol

I am touched that so many wanted to help me figure it out .
sorry that there was confusion as to what I wanted to do .
I would never not give the great art work on my blog their credit all I did was click on their already made stuff and am hoping all will use them but just clicking the logo in the left hand corner.
I would never use someone Else's art work as my own .
As an artist myself - I wouldn't want that to happen to my art work.
so I hope now everyone has it figured out that I got the Logo fixed before you all saw it but just going to their blog under FAQ and saw where someone else had the same problem. So I fixed it as it bugged me to not be able to read the 1st 2 lines of my post . but now all is fine.

Ok added this else where but lets play a game - lets see whom can come up with the most outrageous reason for the copic's even being at Goodwill?
I have racked my brain why anyone would do that.
Here's what my guess is .
Divorce- some poor lady left her hubby and he got mad and cleaned out the craft stuff
and had nooooooooooo clue what he was doing and just dropped all her stuff at Goodwill to get even!!
heck I don't know whats ideas do you have???
Hey I have lots of goodies for the winner we all pick.
so come back on Friday and tell me who's you pick and Saturday out goes the package to that person.

OK not sure this is right they look small here but this is my very first Magnolia
Images were sent to me by club members and right at this moment I have no clue which one sent what.But Stephanie H ,Sherry H., Jacquie all sent me some to start me off.
I bought some images from Diana and she gracious as she is sent my little group 5 images - bless her heart. And Bev sent me the bug car cut outs as well. Hope I didn't forget anyone. Can't tell you what colors I used as it was days ago and some one put them all away for me . Saw the design maybe SCS and wanted to try it .- hope it is OK to use someone else's design.
This is all scary as I really don't want to step on any toes - or leave anyone out either.
so hope this is OK- I'll try to do better
And thanks to all that have been helping me with colors I need and ideas- your all so wonderful

This was the first attempt to do the above card and I got the circle to small so had to use this smaller image also sent to me by one of you kind soles. But I don't know who's image it is and want to give them credit can someone help me with whos stamp design this is?

Ok so what do you all think - should I just hang it up and stick to what I know????

I put the cards on Magnolia-licious web site then cabbaged them back off as they were smaller

so unless some one can show me how you all do it this is the best you get- OK enough for now

My first blog

OK going to try and do my first post on my blog . Never done this before so have
trouble understanding the use.
Today is a cloudy going to rain and is 78 here today here in Lafayette, Indiana.
So far it's been a great day .
Up and dressed and going to make some cards - Big Woo Hoo to that - any day that you can craft and make something to lift someone else up it's a great day right!!!
Ok so a little about me
My name is Chris -
(Umm let’s see I’m a chatter box so since it is my blog I shall chatter and you can just shut me off if I talk to much-LOL)
I am married to Duane for 8 years - we build a beautiful ranch home in 03 and I so love doing the gardens and seeing the flowers grow.- We have a large veggie garden area we put in but due to all the back surgeries I have had we decided to not do that one this year . We have a good life here. God has provided for me very well.
I grew up in Foster homes - taken away from my mother for her child abuse to me.
And it seems God just wants to challenge me for the rest of my life- I am faithful to him and I know there is a plan - haven't figured it out. But the Life I have lived has been rewarding - I cared for the elderly all my life- first in nursing homes then got into In home health care - so loved that - guess that is why the body is the way it is - lifting people twice my size- but I learned many things at the foot of the elderly as I washed and put lotion their feet.
And taking care of Hospice patients - oh my, the dear ones I have held in my arms as they went to heaven. My life was touched by each and everyone.
I have had 3 sons - lost the first from crib death he would have been 39 this coming
this Saturday - remember that night like it was yesterday .
Kevin was born 2 years later he now lives in MO with his Girlfriend and he now has 2 children - a boy and girl - Baby girl was born in May . Hope to be able to go to Kevin's in Sept as it is Cason's BD - and we haven't seen them since May.
My youngest Brad and his wife and 2 sons live in Mo too -but a long way away from Kevin.
Hate that they all live so far away - makes being grandma hard.
We have 4 furbabies - Jonah-Noah-Jacob-and Matthew
Better known as like Joanie- The BooBoo kitty-Jaky- and Mattie
Poor things don't know what there real names are.
BooBoo kitty got his nick name because whenever he gets out of Jonah's sight Jonah crys for him- he thinks Boo Boo he's his kitty-lol so I would always say "Joanie did ya lose your Boo Boo Kitty again?" And we just start calling him that.
Jonah and Noah are purchased babies from PA - they are Himalayans and brothers as they are from the same parents but Jonahs is from a litter which was only him and Noah from a litter of 8. Noah is a big 17 lbs. OK then we adopted Jacob is a biggggggggggggggggg kitty bigger then Noah - Matthew has asthma - and has to take pills everyday and have special food that I have to blend up with baby cereal- he's only 8 lbs and the sweetest baby.. Jacob is a big gray kitty -he looks to me like "Tom" from the "TOM & JERRY" cartoons- and Matty is a grey/black/ brown tiger Tabby baby.
I have been rubber stamping since 1989 and have many stamps and I do mean many - over 10, 000 - grin - addiction - what addiction? The craft room is stuffed and I so enjoy it.
I have just managed to get copic's by some fluke of nature here's that story- all true!
OK so on Wed at Goodwill it's 30% off day for us old folks- so I always go on a Wed- never on a Monday - and a never rainy Monday at that!
But one rainy Monday morning I wake up and something in my mind keeps saying go to Goodwill.
So I do
I always - ALWAYS go to the far end and make my way down the goodies isle before clothes- always on the hunt for stamps or anything for craft room before covering my butt ya know- LOL- hey priorities!!!
So this day I go down the third isle instead- why, I have noooooooooooooo clue.
as I get to the end of the isle and start to turn the corner- I see this like produce bag - like you put veggies in at the grocery store- and it's all wrapped around with packing tape - but I see lots of colors-- LOTS- and I pick it up like thief in the night looking both ways as I am sure what it is and don't want anyone else to see my find- I turn it over and the Price is................

I start to tremble and I go up to the counter and the lady says -" well you didn't get much today" - I usually have a cart of goodies to share with my friends-- so I say” oh I just got these old markers thought they'd be fun for the kids to play with"""
when pigs fly-- anyway I get to the car and I start to shake cause I know I have pulled off the deal of the year- even if only a few are still writable.
I when straight home and cut open my treasure- oh my word there are 88 of them and all like new!!!!!!! ( told someone 74 earlier but forgot to add the doubles )
So that’s my story and I'm sticking to it!!!!!!!
These were bought at Hobby Lobby each had a $6.89 sticker on it- can you image!!
I have just purchased some magnolias and am new to them and of course the copic's but hey we all have to start somewhere. I thought I was a great card maker but then I see the cards on the MAGNOLIA-licious club site and it is oh my I can't color and blend things like that- I used Tombows and Marvy's before but never did blending stuff.
OK so guess is a good getting off place - hope you will enjoy my site as I learn how to use it .
If anyone wants to add and say hi I would so appreciate any comments - and as soon as I get a chance and someone shows me how I will add all those cool side sites I see on every ones blogs.
And pictures - how do I get them on here?
